It is not always possible to estimate the final
costs for our services in advance. These costs, after all, depend on the
further course of the case. The way a case develops often depends on many factors,
some of them quite unpredictable.
When explicitly requested,
we sometimes can give an indication (estimate) of the expected costs. In that case,
we will base the estimate on a regular course of activities as they may
reasonably be expected at the time of the estimate. However, our estimate continues
to be no more than an indication of the expected cost. This estimate should not
be invoked in case the completion of the commission takes more time than we
originally expected. In all circumstances we charge for our work based on the
hours actually worked and at the agreed hourly rates.
